Who operates TreeCareFL

TreeCareFL is operated by Stephen Sikes. Contact contact@treecarefl.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information we collect

Quote forms collect your name, phone number, email, selected city or business, service type and project description. Ownership claims collect the listing, owner name, work email and phone. Beta listing claims also collect the submitted business name and a message describing the claimant’s relationship to the business. We store these requests and email the site administrator for review and follow-up. Account sign-in uses your email address, an emailed code and a session cookie. We also retain claim-review notes and billing references needed to manage a listing. Approved owners can publish business descriptions, contact details, services, service areas and availability notes. Those profile updates are public and marked owner-provided. Administrators retain private quote status, provider/contact records, follow-up dates and operational notes to manage requests; recording an assignment does not itself send a notification or grant provider access. Do not include passwords, payment-card numbers, identity documents or other sensitive information in a project description.

New business submissions collect business name, city, public contact details, services, contact name, email and review messages. Our team reviews these in a private queue. If approved, business name, city, public phone, website, address and services may be published; contact email and review notes remain private. Submission does not approve ownership or subscribe anyone to marketing. Administrators also retain manual-entry source notes for review and enrichment. Business listings use public business information from company websites and data providers. Details can be incomplete or outdated. Website infrastructure may process request information such as IP addresses, browser details and access logs for operation and security. Submission limits use hashed email and network identifiers; those counters do not store the raw email address or IP.

Quote requests and sharing

We use your contact and project details to record and respond to your estimate request. Our routing team can review the request. A request directed to a listing can be delivered to its approved owner; requests without an approved recipient go to the TreeCareFL administrator for routing. If our team arranges a responding provider, your contact and project details may be shared with that provider to respond to the request. Sending a request does not book work or guarantee a response.

Contact a provider directly about how it handles information after receiving your request. We do not treat submitting a quote as permission for unrelated marketing campaigns.

Service providers and billing

We use Vercel for hosting, Supabase PostgreSQL for storage, Resend for email delivery and Stripe for checkout and subscription management. These services process information needed for their functions. Payments are entered on Stripe; TreeCareFL stores customer and subscription references rather than full payment-card details. Service providers may process information outside your state or country.

Advertising requests and sponsor content

Trial requests collect the selected city and placement type, business name, contact name, email, phone, public website, proposed ad description and review notes. Administrators review these in a private queue; contact details and notes are not published. Approved ads may show the business name, description, website and an optional logo. We retain offer terms, activation and expiry dates, and administrative review history. Sponsor links lead to external sites, and a sponsor-provided logo may load from an external image host. Requests do not create billing or ownership access. We do not send advertising-request notification emails automatically.

Cookies and account access

Essential session cookies keep you signed in. Sign-in codes expire after five minutes and are stored in hashed form. An email-verified account does not establish business ownership. Approved owners can access direct quote requests for their linked listings; administrators can review requests and claims. Sign out on shared devices. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account functions.

Retention and your requests

We retain submitted requests, account records, notifications and review history for operating the directory, responding to inquiries, preventing abuse and handling disputes or recordkeeping obligations. There is currently no automatic deletion schedule for quote and claim records. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information associated with you. We may need proportionate verification and may retain records needed for security, disputes or applicable obligations. Copies already received by a provider are subject to that provider’s handling.

This notice will be updated when our practices change. See listing help for business-data corrections and removal requests. Services are intended for adults arranging or providing tree services; please do not submit information about children.
